In this program, we will help individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other Developmental Disorders expand their interests and discover their hidden talents through learning music. We also welcome anyone with or without disabilities who would like to learn music in English as well as in Japanese.

Our program includes; 1) Basic Music Course that participants will appreciate music by singing/dancing/playing rhythm instruments, 2) Eigo (English) de Music 🎵Course that participants will learn both English conversation and English songs with instructions in English, and Music Performance Course that participants will learn how to play Saxophone, Trombone, or Trumpet. No experience with learning music/playing instruments is required. Beginners are very welcome!

We are planning to form a jazz band with our students who participate in the Brass Instruments Course in the near future. We will create as many chances and venues as possible for our students to showcase and shine themselves.

We have two locations for the lessons:

1) Shimizu, Minami-ku for both individual and group lessons (2-minute walk from ”Shimizumachi” Nishitetsu Bus stop or 5-minute walk from ”Takamiya Station” of the Nishitetsu Omuta Line)

2) Imajuku, Nishi-ku for individual lessons and limited courses only (7-minute walk from "Imajuku Station" of the JR Chikuhi Line).

 

We are happy to come to afternoon school day programs, any other programs, or your house to provide our lessons. We welcome any donors who can support our program or/and any volunteer musicians who can play the drums, base guitar, or piano at the ensemble sessions and gigs with our students!
